I honestly think it would be a drivers race if a stock IS-F ran against your brothers G8. Just take a look at Gearbangin's post and videos of his 1/8 mile runs. Granted he has full bolt on and tune, his kills really surprised me. When I first got my F and it was bone stock I ran against a 6.0 GTO with an exhaust and god knows what else, I walked away from both a standstill and a roll.

Assuming a stock F, and after reading a few posts concerning trap speeds on the G8 forums (light mods + tune = 109-110ish), it looks like it should be a drivers race with a slight edge to the F (110-112ish). However, he probably brings more in-car experience to the table, so there's that.

The G8 was a neat car.

I/H/E 6/0 GTOs aren't impressive at all. I didn't get a kill, but we were nose-to-nose from 40mph-120mph when he quit.

I've beat both a G8 GT and GXP. Didn't talk to the drivers so I'm going to assume they were stock. G8 GT I walked. GXP was more neck and neck but I still pulled on him little by little.

Okay see that's what I don't get. How does a mid to high 13 second car run so close with the F?? A stock G8 GT is IS350 territory pretty much lol.

Yeah if anything I would say he is on level with a GXP at this point. He's never dynod his car but from G8 members have posted a proper I/E/H dyno tune G8 puts out 370whp. However thats only if tuned by Pat G who is a wiz at tuning the G8. My brother isn't dyno tuned though, just obd. So I figured it's a little less maybe 355-360whp or so?

Just checked another g8 forum, apparently someone managed to get 375whp out of a dyno tune and full bolt ons on a G8 GT. Went down to the 1/4 mile and ran a 12.7 @110mph on stock 18's and street tires. Impressive honestly.. I think my ISF will have its hands full if it's stock hahaha.... But knowing me, it wouldn't be stock for long though lol.

That is complete BS. I previously owned an '07 IS350, before buying my '12 ISF. The ISF is waaaay faster in every gear. Whoever told you an IS 350 is as fast as an ISF is wrong, dead wrong.

Show him this video. I'd be shocked if you lost a 1/4 run from a dig against him. My mods were ppe headers, borla exhaust, rrracing tune and 275 rear tires on stock 08 rims.

Here's a video of a member who put that claim to the test. As you can see, the is350 was even with the F through 1st gear, after that it slowly became a never ending pull lol.

Also no one ever said the is350 was faster or even equal to an ISF, just that first gear in the is350 is pretty damn good for what it is.
