Default Airbag recall in Southern California question

Well I just got off the phone with to somewhat local Lexus dealers looking to get a free rental which I have seen so many people getting. When I talked to both service departments the just told me to drive safe lol. The to dealers I called were in Valencia and Van Nuys C.A. Was hoping I can get any insight on this. Thanks and sorry if this is a the wrong place to post this.

Yeah unfortunately I have a broken leg so driving the car to the dealer will have to weight a 6 more weeks. But my wife is driving the car and I'll send her over there on Friday and let her loose on them LOL

Cool thank you for the update. Will you be willing to let us know your advisors name? Also did they say you can't drive your car?

My wife and I are both going to get a rental but we have to take our cars in so they write down the mileage. I guess they don't want you driving your car very much while you have the rental. But then he did say you should drive the car once in awhile to keep the battery charged in a rotors clean. I definitely plan on taking my *** out at least on the weekends I don't think that will be a problem

Just to add credibility, my friend's parents have been driving a free rental for a few months now.

If Lexus can let me borrow a hybrid, I wouldn't mind a rental car as my dd for a while
