Got tagged by a young kid while I was stopped turning left and he skidded into me.

It looks like I'm going to need:
1) Bumper Cover (its actually dented/deformed)
2) Tow Hook Cover
3) Passenger Exhaust Diffuser.
4) PAINT

I say with materials and labor around 2k to 2.5k

^^id assume the kid would pay for the deductible. I had similar damage on my is350 back in the day and it was around 2300$; your estimate sounds accurate including the tips.

You need to also tag that kid's insurance company for Diminished Value since the accident may go on Carfax. Keep pictures of it and you can have Carfax revise their report to just bumper scratch if they report it as too serious an accident than it really was.

I used a company that fights the insurance company for you for this a few years back.

So far with parts I'm at about around ~$700 for bumper cover, exhaust diffuser, tow hook cover and misc brackets and bolts.

I'm having the bumper and tow hook cover painted separately by themselves and I will be doing the labor swapping everything over.

I'm guessing about $150-200 for painting them both.

I'm guessing that insurance will be paying me out (after all said and done) about 1500 to 1700 dollars.....

Damage estimate was $3,100....i got a check cut to me for that amount minus my deductible. The other party will reimburse me my deductible.

All OEM parts and paint were $900.00

I'm swapping it all over this weekend.

Also, it is appearing that parts for this car are a bit rare or can take some time to get....

This was the only OEM bumper cover with sonar holes in the midwest region at Lexus.
