Default Speed Attack Stage III Rotors

Has anyone heard of or used these? Was looking for a quality rotor for potential track days at Road America and wanted to avoid drilled for the track. Any input is appreciated.

I'm not sure, never heard of them. Frankly I'm very happy with the OEM ones, they're cheap and I trust Brembo more than Speed Attack, looking at the price, I would not trust these rotors or take track abuse, if your OEM are still good, I'm sure they're a lot better than those.

Keep in mind, our cars are track ready out of the box, so upgrading parts on it with cheaper ones, does not mean better. I drove ISF on the track for many track events the way it rolls off dealer floor and after many years of track days with different cars, I never took it easy on the ISF either, not a single problem, brakes not fading, first upgrade I made was better tires

Looks like they're associated with Hawk Brakes. From the description, I would not have a problem using them. And Yes, I agree with you on using slotted rather than drilled rotors. Lexus is now using slotted rotors on the RCF and GSF.

looks like a great slotted option. I have met so many F'ers from Australia and New Zeland on my Facebook page and they have mentioned some other slotted options that seem great too. Id like to ditch my drilled rotors because its a pain poking out all the clogged holes after a track day

I see "machined and finished in Southern California".

But where did they start?

This does seem like a very good and budget friendly option for slotted or solid rotors. I wouldn't be worried about using them. Coming form Hawk direct they are probably acceptable. I'm not to much of a rotor snob, they are metal, pretty simple and the science behind metallurgy has been around for a long time. Most of the steel is purchased and manufactured in China anyways for almost 98% of the industry no matter what you hear. You ain't buying no high grade P20 mold steel from the US these days. If the post process is done in the US then it should def be fine.
