Juanmedina, what is your experience level? Have you ever done autox or any other form of performance driving (competition go carts,FSAE) ? ZaxF and I will be at AMP on the 27th of this month, maybe you could come at that time instead, that way we could help you out. You could ride with me to kind of feel out the track. I really think for your first track day EVER concentrate on spending your money and time on the basic essentials, if you have the money get the best tires, even if buying all 4 new summers is your best application of resources. Like I said in novice group on a slowish technical track I can confidently say running race pads or fluid is overkill, but if you need to bleed the system go ahead and throw some good DOT4 and if you need pads, OEM or better is fine (even stoptech).
What you should also do is check out some video of some good drivers running the track. Get a mental image in your head of what is going on and the track map (this is all free !). Unfortunately TNiA doesn't have instructors so your on your own , unless you have a willing friend or private coach. Don't get to focused on all the equipment and be that guy with a race prepped car that is all over the track , off-line and doesn't even get his track pads into optimal heat range. Oh and remember to torque you wheels right before going out the first time.

We are considering going August the 27 but not sure yet. Thank you so much for all the advise.

Nice! I just ran my first AutoX with my F last weekend here in Charlotte, NC at the Zmax Drag strip. Since it was my first AutoX, and my have had my F for only a week, I had 4 simple goals, 1) run clean laps, 2) learn what I/my car can do, 3) getting used to reading the cones, and 4) have fun!
My car is still stock (height, tires, etc), with exception to the Joe Z exhaust and HPS intake. I ran the Michelin a/s 3's front and rear with 38 psi front, and 36 psi rear. I definitely tested their limits and I would recommend summer tires.
First time out, I wouldn't really focus on beating others. Just learn how you drive your car and try to beat your own times. I found myself competing against S2000s, Fiestas and other nimble cars and was proud of myself being able to keep up with them.
If possible, have an instructor drive with your, drive your car, or ride with him in his car to see how the course could be ran.

you will be fine. You will have an instructor who will be with you in the car and there is no passing unless its on a straight and usually with a point by needed or suggested . Very safe. Its when you move up that things get a little faster and more aggressive

I forgot to update the thread. The track day was awesome and I am hooked. Everything when very smooth and I am really impressed by the IS-F handling. My car felt really stable and easy to drive.
