Default Adjustable Front Upper Control Arm

Hello,

I've been trying to find an alternative to SPC Adjustable Ball Joint. I had mine cambered at 1.8*, but these things are so hard to adjust I just left it at that, once I guess it wasn't properly tightened and it slipped to -3* during track time, I had to re-adjust it, bruised my hands as getting to the bolt is really tough. Top nuts profile is very low so my wrench would skip it if it wasn't at perfect angle, also you need to bend the wrench to get a proper angle, complete crap.

In my experience the SPC Adjustable Ball Joint is not good for me, I think it rather sucks if you constantly do track days and DD your car when you need to re-adjust your camber to be less aggressive. I know that there are adjustable upper control arms not just ball joint for IS300, but is there something similar for ISF? I know RR Racing was working on one, but I have not seen it hit the market or know a release date, does anyone know of a better alternative?

Thanks in advance!

I don't see it, unless you mean the non IS-F ones?

Megan wasn't a very reputable thing in the past, not sure if much has changed, I would have to be hard pressed to purchase anything Megan branded. Though, thanks for helping

I have the Megan arms and have put about 10k miles on them with no problems. Pat previously had these. Not sure how many miles he put on them but they held up fine. The only other company I can think of that also makes an arm similar to this is Godspeed.

This is our solution.
http://shopfigs.com/v3/index.php?rou...=upper+bushing
and our write up.
http://figsengineering.blogspot.com/...s-f-front.html

We also make custom projects.

The nice thing is that you are also freeing up the upper arm movement vs a staked rubber bushing and a lifetime warranty bushing at that.

I felt the same way about the Megan products but have it on my F and no problems. Many other ISF owners also have them.

Looks like I'll be looking closer at the Megan ones. Figs bushings are not what I'm after, though @FIGS, you should make the equivalent to what Megan did for ISF, I'd be all over it

The pocket that the factory arm has to to fit into means that most will be a negative camber arm only. We have made uppers like I said and we continue to do so on a custom basis since there is so much mis information about exactly what you can do with an upper and what customers want. Track, camber fix, negative camber, these are all different goals with different solutions. The Megan arm is a negative camber arm only and if really pushing it will hit the inner tire well guaranteed based on the top clearance. The bushings allow on car adjustment and can easily swing from mild correction to extra grip.

This is ONE of our offerings but like I said we cut custom parts all the time so if serious we can make it. We are making 2 other IS-f custom uppers this coming week for spirited track use.
