IMO get the 12 save the cash for exhaust, springs or coilovers and carbon fiber goodies. 14s are rare rides anyway... Well hell 12s are as well but.. Def read up on the links provided above!

Those thinks should provide all the info you need! But jus a quick off the top of my head answer, the '14's had the "F" logo in all the headrest, the nav is slightly updated (more colorful/detailed and newer/better maps), and I could be wrong here, but I believe BSM and parking sensors were standard, not optional like for the '12's. Also I believe the '14's came with LED fog lights as well. But def no major difference , lol. If you have the cash and can find one, go for it!

In my opinion, the changes were very slight at best. The majority of changes took place between the '10-'12 model years. That being said, if you are comfortable with the prices of a '14, I say go with it. It was the last model year before the IS F was discontinued. But mechanically, there is nothing different. Wheels are the same, it still boasts the same performance numbers, and still packs the same punch as any IS F before. I even chose to get the MY14 LED fog lights. What I'd really like are the rear F foldable headrests. And if I didn't already have aftermarket wheels for the car, I probably would've swung for the latest wheel offering for the F.
If you're planning on modding the car, the '12 will be more than enough as a starting canvas. If you want to have every last bit from the final iteration of the IS F, get a '14. Either way, enjoy it!

Thanks for the links flowrider. Looks like some good info to start reading on. Too bad there isn't a wiki page type feature for these forum sites where one topic could have its own wiki page with all the data. More for the common questions and how-to articles.
Yeah, I'm pretty much agreeing with what you guys are saying. Not like I have a ton of money to burn, but if I come across a '14-- trying to justify the extra expense over a '12.

Hahaha!! That was pretty funny at the meet sat! You told the RCF owner "I def love my ISF...". RCF owner says "IS-F....??? You mean the IS250 f-sport....or is350 f-sport??". You said "no...IS-F...same engine as yours, just 4 door a a few years older.....". He says "No way....you're kidding?? Is it here?! I want to check this thing out!"😑😑😑😑!!
