Default 2012 ISF- Yea or Nea? Update: I bought it!

Hi! I've been lurking on the forum for quite some time now and have decided to join as a new member. Since I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2012 ISF I thought I'd join and seek the expert input of the group. I can't post a link to the car because I'm new but I can off that it is in Houston and the VIN# is JTHBP5C24C5010602. Would you buy it or not? Thanks for any and all help/input you can offer!

I checked the My Lexus Service History and it looks like it was serviced pretty thoroughly at Lexus of Dominion. At 30 miles, it looks like there was some body work. Don't know what exactly happened but the rest of the history looks solid.

If the price is right and the car is clean, why not?

Welcome to the site. I have access to autocheck and it came back clean. It's a car from up north, so I would suggest to take a look at the undercarriage for excessive rust. My Lexus website shows a lot of the maintenance was performed at a Lexus dealership. The price seems pretty fair. I would go for it.

Thanks for the info and your help on the check- I'm most likely going to purchase- just wanted to see if you all saw something I didn't in the vehicle's history. I do know the original dealer had the car until 2013 which means it is still under factory warranty until 2017. Which is reassuring.

Thanks for your help! Especially the undercarriage suggestion- didn't even think about that!

Alot of times body work that early on is filling in holes in the bumper for front plates😑! They informed us of this at the dealership when we requested the removal of the front plate for our rx350. Don't think it should, but it does go on the vehicle history report.

Excellent idea. Depending on the state the car would end up with lots of salt exposure or even that nasty brine crap, smells terrible for those that have never experienced it.
