A long time ago I heard a good analogy-

Not driving your car so you don't put miles on it is like not having sex with your first wife.

Enjoy it!

You're fine using it as a daily. Just keep up with the maintenance. It's not like the IS-F was created by Mercedes.

40k miles per year is a lot, as far as top performance sedans go there's arguably not a more reliable option. That's said, that's a lot of miles to be putting on any car, gas along would run you thousands a year. However if your able to enjoy those 40k miles having fun driving it then it very well could be worth it too you!

Yesterday's the past, tomorrow's the future, but today is a gift. That's why it's called "the present."
i drive it everyday like i stole it.. very happy i get to... not waiting for the weekend or special event like some..
i'd rather die driving my f (we both go to heaven or valhalla at the same time)
seriously, enjoy everyday like it's your last.. shoot, if i had the energy i'd have sex with the wifey everyday then drive my f.. double ecstasy if you ask me..

this is totally up to you. When i drive mine daily then i can reach 2000 miles in one month.. In one year i did put 30000 miles. It is a fun car to drive and i did stop driving it daily for a bit. Then i upgraded a few parts and now i am back to driving it daily. LOL...

This CAR IS JUST TO MUCH FUN to leave parked.

If you guys only knew how inexpensive gas is in Kuwait.

The F's the only car (besides a Cayman GT4) I'd ever want to do 40k mi with in a year, even with premium @ $2.52/gal.

Then again, when it gets to $4.52/gal. ...

I'm the opposite. Im the "poor" car guy so mine is a garage queen and only comes out a few times a month. I daily my boring Venza so when I do get in the F it feels special.

It is a blast to drive - having a different DD really makes you appreciate the time (your time) in the ISF seat. With the roads in NJ you want to be careful what and where you are driving!

I bought mine for 3 years and took good care of it. I washed, waxed and then park it back in the garage for months (only taking it out to car meets several times a year). I love this car so much that I want to keep it in the best condition so that the next buyer can enjoy it. And I also bought a POS daily, I wanted to keep the millage for the F to be low because like a collectible...it will go up in value later on (like $100K hopefully)......

I daily mine, 15k-20k a year. Drive it like I stole it every single day, everywhere I go. A tank of gas lasts me just under a week, thankfully my work commute is only 10 miles each way so that helps keep it kinda low.

I bought this car to drive hard, eventually when I buy something like an M4 or C7 I want to keep this my daily, and make the monster my weekend car. I never want to drive a corolla or anything boring.

Not driving your car to keep the miles low for the next buyer is like not banging your GF so her next boyfriend can enjoy her. Makes no sense.
