2011 Revised Suspension Or Pre 2011 with Ohlins or Penske ????
Just wanted some opinions or some real world as the contemplation comes in whether 2010 with eventual suspension upgrades is the way to go or 2011+ with the new suspension would be just as good? Now I assume the Ohlins or Penske would be better than the 2011 suspension tweak but how much better?

I have Penske coilovers on my 2012, and they're definitely an improvement over OEM.. IMO, whether or not it's a worthwhile upgrade to the 2011+ suspension depends on how the car is used.
For F-ing the track, hell yeah! I have no regrets with dropping $3K on coilovers.
If my car was only driven on the street, maybe not.

I kind of figured the Penske coilovers were to enhance a track experience and like one other member stated who had the Ohlins; that it is a night and day difference over pre 2011 suspension and is not quite as aggresive as the Penske's. Now is it worth it to get LSD? If I'm not tracking the car?
All the folks with no lsd describe power delivery as spooky and a bit unpredictable.
I have a 2010 so I'm biased obviously and I have coil overs, but if I didn't. I would seriously consider getting lsd. It just makes the handling so much more predictable.

Mike is a track star and he knows whats up. If I swapped my 2010 suspension it would be the Penske RR Racing set up ALL DAY EVERYDAY

I'm working on it, though.. Going back to Summit Point next Friday. It'll be my first time on that circuit with Penskes (third time overall)..
Can't wait to feel the difference

I replaced the OEM suspension on my 2011 with HKS Hipermax IV GT coilovers and I'm really happy with the change in ride quality, handling and overall road feeling.
I don't track my car, I was looking for a better, tighter ride without the harshness, and I think I've found it.

I wonder how they compare to the BC coil overs w/ Swift springs for the $700 difference?

Honestly the stock suspension on my 2010 doesn't bother me one bit. When I first picked the car up it was definitely noticeable how the ride was on the firmer side, but I got used to it pretty quick. Plus it reminds me that I'm driving something special everyday It probably mostly depends on the roads in your area though because if your roads are pretty bad I'd say to upgrade the suspension or get the revised suspension model. But the LSD is definitely worth it even if you don't track it. coming from a car that had an open diff to this, its a whole new world you won't regret it!
