Default Free day and a little project

Saw a couple of of threads lately about painting calipers and I got inspired.. Wanted a color that would pop/stand out.. Hope y'all like it..

VHT high temp grey primer
Duplicolor engine enamel green
VHT clear gloss

I wouldnt have guessed that green would look as good as it does. Great work... looks good!

I've never been a fan of green on calipers, but I must admit, yours look pretty good!!! Good job!

Wow that looks great.. Great work!

I have the grey ISF too, and always thought green would be best, will have to do this i think.

I have bright yellow but always thought North Carolina baby blue would look sick

Great color choice. It really adds a nice pop and detail in the wheel well.

I don't usually like anything green but those look good. About how long did the whole process take you? I'm assuming you sanded before priming?

I might have to take a sick day and tackle this soon

Thank you again fellas, yeah I took a chance on this green.. Just soo glad it came out pretty good

Took me about 6/7 hours, blue taping everything took the longest other than the waiting game for paint to dry.. Sanded a little just to clean the dust and scarce the surface soo the paint sticks.. Calipers already have a smooth Surface soo heavy sanding wasn't needed, and also sprayed a lot of brake cleaner to fully clean.. 2 coats of primer (15 mins inbetween), 3 coats of paint (15 mins inbetween again), place the sticker on then sprayed 4 coats of clear (15 mins inbetween again).. Just a long process really..
