Both are excellent options that behave very similarly. Unfortunately we have had some some minor fitment issues on a couple batches of the rear IS-F pads (only this specific pad shape for some reason). As a result we have been nudging people towards the Project Mu pads until we can be 100% certain that the issue has been resolved.

*edit*
If you need the links/part numbers:
PROJECT MU NS400 PS4F160 LEXUS IS-F FRONT
PROJECT MU NS400 PS4R106 LEXUS IS-F REAR

Edit- nevermind, I found the difference.

Ns400 for street, hc800 for track.

^^^^Only because the OP wants street pads.

My personal choice would be Ferodo DS2500 for the front and Project Mu HC+800 for the back. (which is what I have Second choice would be Project Mu HC+800 all the way around.

But, my choices are dual purpose Street/Track pads.

Part Number for what pad? Rotors:

http://www.partsgeek.com/mmparts/bra...exus/is_f.html

or (rotors & pads)

http://speedfreaksusa.com/i-13338032...e-package.html

Note: SpeedFreaks offers a CL discount.

Both Centric and Brembo are good street rotors.

These are what I ended up buying for my sisters IS-F front brake job

I bought the rotors through eBay and pads through Amazon
Amazon had the rotors for cheaper, but back ordered

in retrospect, I wish I went for these instead, would've been 50$ cheaper

I went with the Hawk HPS 5.0 Brake Pads (Front Pads - Full Set, All IS F models, AutoAnything SKU 4215965, Hawk Part Number HB616B.607) for several reasons. 1) Widespread acceptance on many other performance car forums 2) Brand recognition 3) Low Dust 4) Met my performance / price requirements (make sure to use 25% off promo code on product page).

Once bedded in, they have performed great with no noise, low dust, and stock levels of stopping power. They are also fully compatible with the ABS.
