Default Front Plate Holder (with pic)

Hi Guys,

Just got my car back from the detailers and had to remove my front plate (which was stuck on with 3M tape).

Now seeing the car as it is below, is there a number plate holder that lexus sells that will fit in the below holes?

Does anyone have a part number? or eben diagram on how the front late holder fits in place?

Any help would be appreciated.

What's with the square holes? I have only 2 small screw holes for the stock plate holder.

I'm really hoping he drew those squares with a paint app and there aren't really gaping holes.

That being said, never try to put a square peg in a round hole.

I think those square holes were edited in to help identify the said holes in the picture. I could be wrong though.

OP, there's a front plate bracket on eBay that's being sold by a Lexus dealer in Arizona if that's what you're looking for or if you don't want to drill in those holes (as most don't prefer that option) you can get a plate relocation kit. It installs in place of your tow hook. From the eBay listing, the part number is 52114-53110.

Lol no editing here guys,

This is how the car came from Japan, when I took off the original number plate holder these holes were behind it.

Now I'm confused why they'd be on my car and no one else 😒.

Beside the holes u can see there are two drill points that were used, but the square pieces just seem to be there. When the number plate is on it covers them.

In Japan, the mounting holes on the license plates are wider apart than say the U.S plates for example. If I had to guess, I'd say those holes were made to accomidate the mounting of the Japanese license plate. You can try to get the OEM bracket but, I don't think it'll fit with those holes in place.

Edit: I see you're not usdm spec. That's probably why you have different mounting holes in place. And do you have radar cruise since your L emblem is solid? I didn't know it was an option.

The part number above seems to be confirmed by this thread. Apparently there's a couple different brackets in circulation. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...bracket-2.html
