Just thought you guys would enjoy this quick thread. Almost 175k on it.

Of course the link doesn't work. And can't add a picture now.

Here is the non-mobile link: http://www.wendellautobrokers.com/19...-IS-F-for-sale

It looks to be in great physical condition for such high mileage! Probably still runs like new too, as long as it has been well cared for.

The Carfax maintenance records are impeccable! One-owner car, and always serviced at the same Lexus dealership from the day it was bought new until it was traded in.

I suppose that answers whether our car was included in the recall, carfax.

Was there ever any doubt about getting to 200k?

No probably not. I just would like to see someone pick this up that doesn't have quite the funds of a lower mileage F and want's a fun sports car with over 400hp. I am not sure that I want to sign up for the CTSV forums and post this there lol. But I would like to.

One thing I noticed from my older is300 when it was in its 200,000s miles + is that it developed oil leaks and a few engine gaskets needed to be replaced. Aside from that my older is300 was still solid never needed any work just regular brakes rotors fluids timing belt and water pump 90k maintenance. I hope I can say the same thing about my isf when I reach that milleage.

I wanted to echo your statement bro. I never noticed any appreciable oil loss on my is300, but the valve gaskets were definitely leaking as it approached 200k. Replaced them and the cam seals when I did my second TB/WP job and all was good. The car was a tank though, rock solid @ 200k+.

I was doing my plugs last weekend on the F and was wondering how hellish it would be to do the same gasket replacement on it!

My 2008 F has 182,000 miles on the odometer. Other than routine maintenance items (brake discs and pads, tires, etc.) I have only had three things go wrong. Had navigation screen malfunction (replaced it myself for less than $300 with new touchscreen off e-bay), starter malfunction @ 170,000, and new water pump installed when starter replaced. Water pump had slight leak so I decided to have it replaced when the new starter was installed. Cost of both was less than $3,000.

Car is DD with about 7 track days. Couldn't ask for a more reliable vehicle. Even though I have a new C7 Z06 with the Z07 package I will keep the ISF for at least another 100,000 miles as my DD. the Vet is for track days and is a garage queen.

only thing that irks me is you take all those pics but not a single engine bay shot?

i would be interested in this but i dont think even with the maintenance records i would give them $20k
