The F was parked in front of the dealership after getting the cooling fan bolts recall done.

I almost missed the note on the windshield. I have just had the car for just a couple of weeks and clearly some folks appreciate it.

nope. there are quite a few F's where i live (live near the toyota headquarters), as well as RC F's and one GS F i see every morning on my way to work. so, no one is impressed near me haha

3 - 4 times I found notes like that on my '87 hilux. Never on my Isf, but it's rarely parked in front of my house.

haha I never got a note like that but did get a note from an ******* who threatened to key my car because I was parked over my 2 spots for my office who actually worked in the building and was to much of a **** kicker to realize there were security cameras ALL over the place . I had him fired for his stupidity. " You gonna learn today ". F that punk .


I have a feeling many of us will start getting more of these offer to buy notes since the ISFs are not in production. During my photo shoots with HRE multiple people stopped to ask if they could buy the photographers NSX. I think it was 3 people over just 2 4 hour photo shoots. If there are close to 9500 NSXs and the values are as high as they are I am sure if there are only 5118 examples of the ISF int he US that the same will happen with the ISF as it ages

To the OP's point...never had a note left but have been approached at gas-stations and traffic lights by people asking to buy my Lightning and Grand National.

Last year I took my NSX for a smog test and had 2 guys ask me if it was for sale. Hasn't happened in the IS-F yet but I'm sure that will change.

Tonight when I walked out of a local BBQ joint, the owner of an '09 IS250 got out of his car and came over to me, asking if the car was for sale. My answer, of course, nope, not now, maybe not ever. He then told me what he knew about the car, which wasn't much, I corrected him, and we parted.

hahahaha this is normal. People think they "know" about the F and they dont.

Here's my thing. if you dont know dont try and talk about it. Just makes you look stupid.

Supras get the same ****. Even just driving down the street people pull up and ask how much, and we're not even at a stop yet. The worse is when they write on some jacked up paper and stick it to your windshield, and after it has been sitting for awhile it gets stuck and adheres to your window.

One time I pulled in to a parking lot near a movie theater and a guy runs up with his GF, "How much for your Supra!? I will buy your car RIGHT NOW! I'll go to the bank right now! $30k cash?!" And his GF looks at him, "uhhh we going to see a movie right now". And he says, "Forget the movie! I need this car!"
Me: "Uh sorry bro, it's not for sale."
GF: "Thank you!"
He looked more heart broken when he looked inside and saw it was a 6 speed.

There are far less ISFs than NSXs and Supras. Hopefully the ISF will get there.
