Think he meant a track where corners are involved.
As a former IS350 owner, the IS350 does feel spunky around town. It gets off the line very well. It makes a great daily driver because acceleration feels brisk and lively in the city, top end though was lacking.
The ISF is a monster mid and top end, once speed gets above 60mph the acceleration rate is sometimes frightening. It gets to triple digits speeds so quickly sometimes you forget, look at your speedo then have a WTF moment.
With equal drivers, an ISF will trap anywhere between 10-14mph faster than an IS350, that's a huge difference.

Fastest stock ISF 12.379@114 mph
Fastest stock IS350 13.228@105mph
ISF is second faster in the 1/4mile and once you go beyond 1/4mile on the highway or mile run or even a half mile run the ISF wlll totally dominate IS350 not to mention on the track as well.
Also remember the most important mod is the driver mod so it doesn't matter how fast or how powerful your car is if you can't drive. So yes you'll have some 13-second ISF just like you'll have some 14 second even 15 sec IS350. That was my old IS350 in pic.

I'll agree with everyone above, the is350 is a great ride. My 08 I could launch every time and it would hookup with almost no issue. It was consistent and well balanced. The F takes a bit more finesse due to the added power but it's at a whole other level compared to the 350.
A second on the time slip might not look like much but in the real world we're talking a bus length; then there's trap speed to talk about..

Quite a few magazines have the ISF's 0-60 in 4.2-4.3. Most of the magazines I have seen has the 2006-2013 IS350 in the low to mid 5s, 2014+ IS350 even slower @ high 5s low 6s. I wouldn't call that close.
Anyhow this is a silly thread, with a bad driver any car can be slow. That ISF might have some kind of mechanical problem, it was running extraordinarily crappy. Reality is, equal drivers, both cars in good mechanical shape, stock for stock the IS350 stands no chance against the ISF. Once mods come into the equation, it gets even uglier for the ISx50.
As a former IS350 owner with the full F-sport catalog upgrade (minus the BBK), the two cars feel NOTHING alike if you were to drive them back to back blindfolded. =) Steering feel, brake feel, suspension feel, engine response ect. is just on a totally different level in the ISF.

With a mild performance upgrade, these cars do trap in the high 12s on the 1/4 mile. With the right suspension upgrades, these cars are very capable on the track, especially with a better weight distribution (52:48) and a lower curb weight than the IS-F.
I do agree though that posting a thread like this on the IS-F forum is essentially clickbait.

Yeaaaa I mean I can say the same thing about most cars. Grab a 335 and an M3. You can even get the 335 to beat the M3 quite easily but drive each one and you'll never pick a 335. So like the M, the F is much stiffer, better built, and just feels nimble/fun in its factory state opposed to its counter part. The power is better balanced and matches to the chassis/suspension then let's say a supercharged is350.
Before I got my F I was looking at buying an is350. I test drove an F for the first time as a joy ride. After that I was just going to look for Is350s. That joy ride ruined it for me. I could never sit in a 350 and be happy knowing that the same type of car could be so much better. I'm not bashing the car as it was my number one choice. I just didn't know any better.
So yea you can say that the 350 might have beat an F but I rather take a .2 second slower F than a modded 350 any day.

A FBO IS-F does 0-60 in 3.9 seconds though (3.7 with 1 foot rollout). Stock for stock, there is a about .8 second 1/4 mile time difference and about 10 mph difference. The lady driver probably had it in full auto mode instead of manual mode.

1/4 15.115@93.2mph 60' 2.418, he was at elevation that's just one factor, and bad 60' time didn't help matters. I don't know we're you live, but in my neck of woods when we do runs on highway there way more than 110mph. Our typical runs 0 to 120, 30 to 130, 60 to 150mph. Oh and third gen is350 are even slower more weight and they changed gearing, then there's RC 350 even heavier then IS350 third gen. The ISF is faster, handles better tighter chassis, shifts faster, brakes better with OEM Brembo Brakes , way better steering feel Unlike numb steering found on sec gen IS350/250, sounds better it is true high performance sedan, the IS350 is quick DD great for cruising around with short bursts of speed. the is350 0 to 60 time is close to ISF but after that it's over.
