Actually we are still running 4psi boost only... about 500-510whp.

This Saturday we are doing another track test session at Pocono, and next week we are going to take it up another notch.

In the meantime, all our components are being machined and we are setting up for production of the kit. Just taking it in small increments as far as power and tuning. Goal is to release the kit with at least 6 track days under its belt, and of course intensive street testing.

What about the transmission? Is there any idea of how much power and tq it can handle before it starts to slip/fail?

Any concerns over underhood temps/iat's for people not running a vented hood? I would think temps would be much higher in the engine?

Forced induction will always cause more heat, though I would think a belt driven supercharger should impart less heat into the engine bay than an exhaust driven turbocharger...but at the end of the day any form of forced induction will cause higher EGTs meaning your exhaust manifolds will radiate more heat through the engine bay.

Rafi, I'm sure you mentioned before, but is everything stock with the tranny? I'm curious how overbuilt the drivetrain is with our cars.

Tranny is stock, just with large upgraded oil cooler. I know of no failures of ISF trannies, even with guys running nitrous for many years.

That said, we are thinking of maybe doing a 6 speed Tremec 6060 conversion this winter....
