OEM Caliper paint flaking off?
Has any else had this happen? I want to fix it but Im not really wanting to have to rebuilt all the calipers to powdercoat them. I was thinking I could sandblast them and then spray them with a heat resistant enamel. I like the blue and want to keep it. The backs are fine but the fronts are bad.. the driverside is much worse.

Those were painted blue from factory? I thought they only came in black.
I just painted mine this past week, orange, very easy to do, done in a few hours and looks awesome, i'd recommed you just get them redone in that same blue if you like that color.

Mine looks like the clear coat is peeling on the two fronts. You have to sand it down and repaint, its pretty simple and I just seen a thread where the owner painted his orange and it looked extremely nice. I think it was something like "Something to do on a Saturday evening."

You should research how to do this so it lasts before jumping into it.
My .002 cents.

It got painted in 09. Only 1 is damaged which is probably from a pressure washer/ intense heats and brake fluid getting spilt on it when the lines were changed.
I did research it. My neighbor is an automotive painter and i consulted with him prior to coming up with the conclusion.
