Default Touch up paint pens

Anybody have experience with the touch up pens from paintscratch.com? Trying to find a cheap solution to a couple spots on the hood and these look like a good option, they even have the paint code on that website, can't be to far off. Any input on these or on a different product that works?

I have used the OEM Lexus touch up pens with success on cars that have small rock chips, particularly prior to applying a clear bra product. They have a ball point and a small brush.

Did you just buy them through lexus or do you mean OEM paint code?

^^^I've also had success with oem Lexus pens. Bought from dealer for about $20.

Paint was a perfect match with pearl in the clear coat. I was surprised at how good it turned out being that it was from a pen. 077 SFP.

I just bought one from Lexus. You just got to give them the vin#. Was around $12 for the touch up paint.

Depending on what color your car is and how big the chips are, the oem pen could look horrible on a hood. Even with the proper paint code. It's possible to end up with little blobs of paint. I've tried them and if its in a spot that's inconspicuous then I might use it. For example: I love our oem paint pens for slight curb rash on my 08 factory wheels.
I recently bit the bullet and purchased the Dr Colorchip "rash" kit which comes with a small squeegee to eliminate the blob effect. Now it is more expensive than the oem pens but it's sooo much better.

I am also planning to buy one. My friend said it worked great on his car.

Just get the dealer paint pen, they're usually in stock and you know it's right vs. a possible mis-match on some website.
