Very cool write up, those gains are amazing!

Intake still looks stock though, I mean minus the pipe. Threw my off because of their new development with the 87mm MAF, but come to think of it Rafi said the pipe was also 87mm, so that must be what they meant.

Gains are amazing.

Stupid question, why doesn't the factory offer these options? Is it a cost thing? Does the power come at the cost of reliability?

Thanks for sharing.

Great write up for sure.

I'll be printing that off for my shop to refer to when they do my headers. As I've said before, we have zero shops here that are familiar with this installation on account of there only being 200 or so in the UK! Of those, maybe 2-3 have headers installed!

^^^^^Awesome! Glad that could be of some help when you do your header install. That's a good idea anyway to print this off for reference when I have mine done (down the road).

So no one else has done this in the past??

There are many parts that have pioneered for the IS F since 2008.

Also, when removing the more critical sub-frame, I would be properly marking all those holes as well...

For those who are into that Technical kind of stuff.

my thoughts exactly, the fanboy-ism for RR on this forum has gotten crazy lately. It's not like RR actually created the headers themselves or even installed them.

The article also mentioned that RR was the first to crack the ECU, but the other company claims the same...

There are a number of CL vendors who've done great things for us F owners.

Joe Z, FIGS, RR-Racing, TTFS, Meraki, SIKKY, PPE, ModInJapan,

All of the above are helping to make the F go better, sound better, handle better, look better, perform better.

We owe all of you guys a great deal of thanks for all the hard work and dedication you've shown despite the doubts, obstacles, difficulties involved in developing these special cars.

Thanks to you all.
