Default Under mirror radar mount...

I promised I would post pics once I got this done. I have been slacking on taking the pics and uploading. Love the setup and it works great. Very clean install.

Dope, have mine the same way wired to the rain sensor. Tied to the ignition so it's auto on / off.

No one noticed what was looking back at them when I posted this in the IS-F pic thread *lol*

Ok here come the questions:

Is that an OEM mirror / did you send it in?
What did it cost?
If it's there, where did you stealthily mount the detector?

I've really wanted to do this, but can't imagine you can really hide the detector anywhere less obvious that would make this worth it.

I did this myself. Yes, it's an OEM mirror. Quite a bit of work. I had to relocate the Homelink module and Dremel out some parts of the mirror. Then measuring out the backing of the mirror. I am in the process of building a dummy headrest for the rear deck and the Valentine 1 will be mounted inside it. I did this in my BMW and the results were very good, no noticeable degradation of performance.
Here are a few pics of what I did-

^^ They make a good product. Pricey, but then again it is delicate work.
