Dope, have mine the same way wired to the rain sensor. Tied to the ignition so it's auto on / off.

Ok here come the questions:

Is that an OEM mirror / did you send it in?
What did it cost?
If it's there, where did you stealthily mount the detector?

I've really wanted to do this, but can't imagine you can really hide the detector anywhere less obvious that would make this worth it.

I did this myself. Yes, it's an OEM mirror. Quite a bit of work. I had to relocate the Homelink module and Dremel out some parts of the mirror. Then measuring out the backing of the mirror. I am in the process of building a dummy headrest for the rear deck and the Valentine 1 will be mounted inside it. I did this in my BMW and the results were very good, no noticeable degradation of performance.
