Five months ago, I decided to hit the streets of willow and didn't really like the track. In my opinion, the streets of willow is a technical track, but with low speed cars, right next to it is the BIG WILLOW. I told my self that i'll be back and I'm going to try the BIG WILLOW. Of all the track that ive been to, this is my FAVORITE, its a combination of auto club speedway (Fast track) and streets willow (technical track) I've watched different videos to study the apex, sweepers and different elevations, and also car crashes... Being on the track is different, the track is extremely FAST, I mean fckng FAST, FAST FAST. Sometimes you get carried away with your speed and your *** out when braking (turn 1)...A lot of car crashes that I've seen on the videos are from turn turn 8,9 and 1. Although this turns are common, I find my self loosing control and hitting the dirt on turn 4 to set up the turn 5.... its all good... I can tell you guys though, that the F is fast enough and capable enough to go neck to neck with high powered cars, including exotic cars. This is my first time here on this track and it takes practice to where point the car and when and where to brake...When I'm watching my videos, I'm hugging the apex too much and just wanted to hit triple digit. Holy crap !! That looks like such a fun track. Good speed and elevation changes with banking !!!! This is amazing.

Crazy runs, Chris! I like the persistence. Man, you made sound much worse than what happened when you got to the dirt. Glad nothing bad really took place. Wish I could've joined you for this one, but great way to represent the F!

No, sir, were talking about average speed here. Not just on the roval...this came from speedventure its self...there are sign posted every where that this is the fastest track on the west...

Fontana has no elevation changes compared to this. This is more technical. Half NASCAR with a technical in field seems boring compared to this.

I didn't get the transponder,coz its my first time at this track, but when I've checked the lap time sheet in my group, some drivers are avg. 1:35. I did 1:57 on my video, which is sux ***
its scary inside the car, I didn't counter steer coz I might flip over, so I just let go and hit the brake, you could hear my tires coming off the track...

Looks like you had fun! Great job out there.

Decreasing radius turn 9, thats always a fun one. My passenger helmet visor was foggy.

Streets of willow is still my personal favorite, ran clockwise.

Fast drivers in fast cars run around 1:35 for SCCA ITx cars. Fast drivers in race cars run right at 1:06. If you are not used to triple digit speeds, Big Willow will scare the crap out of you. It is a VERY fast track, and only the ovals would be considered faster. Any of the ovals with infield will not be this fast. Big congrats for going and coming home in one piece!
