70k on my 08 and it ticks. Going to have lexus take a look when i go in for my airbag recall

Agreed! Unless this is warrantied by Lexus I don't see any reason why someone would opt to pay (hopefully not) for stock manifolds when they can put on some aftermarket headers and let the 2UR-GSE breathe like it's suppose too!

Looks like we have another common issue. If mine goes under warranty I am doing oem. If not the PPE here I come. This is just another issue for the F.
1. water pump ( mostly early ISFs 08-09s)
2. Valley plate leak
3. Headers crack at 80-100k miles

just change my manifold gasket 2 weeks ago and i think the exhaust smell is gone I don't smell anything at this time, my mechanic said their is no crack on my manifold

Mine sounds fine in start up, but its good to know what to look out for.

Agreed. Especially considering the price for stock manifolds.

Ive got a tick. But I also know I need to replace my gaskets on my cat back. If it doesn't go away when I do that. I will ask next time it's in service. It's not gunna upset me or break my heart if they find it cracked...LOL

makes me wonder about the ticking we all have and we think its the vales........HHHHHmmmmmmm . Could be cracking but not all the way through yet . Just food for thought

has anyone confirmed the noise has gone away? mine makes a loud noise when cold and sometimes at WOT
