Yes, but not right now.

My F is with my local Bodyshop getting some paint issues resolved before show season starts up.

I'll try and snap some pictures when it goes back to H&S in a couple of weeks though.

Do you have headers?

No, but remember us Brits do these at the wheels, not the fly.

Point isn't the amount of HP per se, it's the gains from the previous run without the exhaust.

41.7 to be precise.

Agree with Lou. A bit premature for this type of statement. I've done exhaust testing for the Supra community and apples to apples comparisons are the only way to develop reliable results (http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...ing&highlight=)

Ken.
I was referring to the noise comparison.

with the addition of an H or X pipe.. Im really hoping that the sound isn't lost. I believe it sounds the way it does due to not having either of those pipes. Time will tell. I like the sound but like with the Greddy exhaust..the gains were very very little without a H or X pipe. Looking forward to the results.

The sound should be derived from the LACK of an X pipe. If I recall the pics that were posted of the original piece the pipes never cross.

Edit: Yup, they never cross the pipes.

Hey Ken,

Out of interest, did you find any gains from an X pipe or similar with the Supra? My understanding was the straighter the pipe the better? Trying to understand how adding a crossover would net more power gains over a straight pipe design?

I'm hoping to get H&S to add an X pipe to my system just to see how it impacts the noise and power levels.

I am NOT interested in getting an X-pipe if you don't, Pete. That sound is what has drawn me to this exhaust, and I think adding an x-pipe will change the note. I can't imagine an addition or lack of X or H pipe will make any sort of noticeable difference.

I am 95% positive if you have a X pipe added you will completely lose that unique tone. It will sound just like all the rest of the systems.

You can tune an exhaust note within reason via muffler design, piping layout, X pipe location, etc. but the main factor as to why yours sounds so different is because they never let the banks crossover.

Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Dyno would tell the story.

No doubt an X-pipe will yield more horsepower as it will balance the flow between all cylinders and smooth out uneven exhaust pulses. It also serves to reduce cabin drone. As he noted earlier his original exhaust set up without the silencers had considerable cabin drone.

Well guys I'm not ordering just one type of the exhaust. It will be a variety, but of course, they will all have different prices..

I don't care about cabin drone, nor do I care about the supposed 3whp that no one will notice between an X-pipe vs. non X-pipe. I'm in it for the sound.
