Hellcat is a proper example of a car with too much power and not enough traction.

It has a hard time breaking 10's even with 700hp.. thats pretty sad.

The ISF is breaking traction NA.. with any form of boost, 1st gear is useless.. and also happens to be the gear you guys need to get good 1/4 times with. Unfortunately you don't have a longer final drive option available to compensate.

I ran 305 rear tires and I broke traction pretty often.

Also helps BMW's DCT is one of the best gearboxes available in a car sub 100k. Most people have ranked it up with there with PDK which is incredible.

You can get by with boost by gear but then again in the end traction will always be an issue. So many limitations on this car to make it a proper tuner car.
If you're a drag queen.

Since you owned an ISF you know they're sorely lacking in low end torque and a supercharger would be a perfect fit for that. It would make "spirited" driving considerably more fun. The car would hardly be useless.

It's not the size of the tires it's the quality, I have 275 on my isf 500whp can run digs all day with out braking traction. But I also live in Colorado, if you have nice sport tires that are 305 you will have no issues

Dyno-Dynamics Resulted: 335.5 HP / 322 ft-lb TQ. Pulls were in 4th gear.

I will do a run on a Dynojet in a few weeks when i get my PPE headers, I will do a before and after. After that, i will get back on this Dyno-Dynamics just for kicks.

All good, i saw your reply. From what I've ready, Dyno-Dynamics seem to give out lower numbers. I'm not too worried at this point. I'm eager to see what a Dynojet will tell me when I get on that machine in the next couple weeks. I'm betting that the Dynojet will read about 370hp. If not....then I would be at a lost for words with this car if it is indeed sub 350hp with the RR Tune.

Correct, 370hp seems a lot more feasible! Especially in a stock setup. I'm not sure if it's all coincidence that these shops indeed have no hands on experience with the F. I hope that's the case.

I doubt you'll get much if any gain on a stock car with a tune. Prepared to be disappointed.

This shop has done an F that put down 370hp but he can't recall the mods. He did make an effort to call the guy but didn't get an answer. Like i said, i will be back after my PPE install.

It seems that Vivid Racing is using the same generic OBD2 hand held device like the other vendors to tune the IS-F
