I honestly don't even care if power is found with the tune while NA. The key is if boosting it, will the ECU be writeable. And it is
Boosting a car with 8 gears and short gearing would make the first 1-2 gears almost useless.
You can get by with boost by gear but then again in the end traction will always be an issue. So many limitations on this car to make it a proper tuner car.

No you just need the right tires and suspension setup...
What about the Hellcat and the new ZL1 with 10 gears?
I have seen a Hellcat with 275 Mickey Thomson and that thing hooked like no other.

Have to agree with you guys the tune is just means to end, its just Appetizer. If we want to play with big boys then forced induction is the only way to go SC or TC what ever your weapon of choice maybe. The tune is side show the main event would be 600+whp ISF that's what I'm waiting for. Still haven't pick up tune yet waiting for further development.

If I'm not mistaken, the E9x M3 with their DCT 7spd have much more aggressive gearing than the ISF and they don't seem to have any issues with 500-600whp+ boosted.
And I really don't think our ISF is geared that aggressive TBH, I mean we can hit like 65mph in 2nd gear and almost 100mph in 3rd, My 05 STi for comparison was geared very aggressive and I had to shift into 5th just to hit 100mph.

Agreed also. The 2URGSE engine is already tweeked out from the factory. A tune may make the engine feel better, but I wouldn't think a major power increase can be had by just a tune on an engine thats already pushing the envelop. Note the RCF 2UR engine had internal changes to squeeze more power out of it.
I am just waiting for the FI tunes. It'll be interesting to see who will be the first to pull off a good reliable ~600rwhp on this engine, and who has the funding to blow an engine for the benefit of all of us..cause it is going to happen regardless. I believe the piston shape design for DI, as well as the whole DI set up, isn't really built to with stand FI...but I guess we will just have to wait and see.
