Interesting stuff. I remember when I had my STi tuned after the stage 2 package was installed.

Off the shelf map ran 225 awhp and 224 ahtq......car didn't feel right at all. (after downpipe, fuel pump install)

Off to the dyno I went to get Pro-Tuned (Cobb)........262 awhp......and 293 awtq................car felt amazing and smooth.

How is the engine handling the extra 400 RPM's?

I would wait for this if I were you guys:

With a hand held tuner, you can change maps as you get more mods installed, that way you don't have to keep sending in your ECU. All they have to do is send you a new map or better yet, go to the dyno and have someone custom tune your car. Beats any "off the shelf map" hands down.

still waiting for an independent dyno because even my car feels faster after I wash it.

So far we will have:

-MileHiFcar: Mods are Borla exhaust/HPS intake tube w/Tom's filter

-Liquidtek: Mods are JoeZ exhaust/JoeZ intake w/AFE filter/TTFS tune

-DCguy: Mods are JoeZ exhaust/Gutted Primaries/JoeZ intake w/AFE filter/RR tune (stock limiter 6800)

-Minator: Mods are Borla exhaust/HPS intake tube w/stock filter/PPE headers/RR tune (7200 limiter)

-5280ISF: Mods are Borla exhaust/HPS intake tube w/AFE filter (still undetermined?)

-Rohi123: Mods are Borla exhaust/Stock intake tube w/K&N filter/Sikky headers/100 shot of NOS

I did do a baseline in November on the same dyno, I got my Borla about 6 weeks ago and wanted to run with it for a little bit to get an idea of how the car reacted going from stock and it has been a pleasant experience so far It definitely gained power so the dyno for me will be the difference between Novembers baseline and the Borla.

I already pre-paid for the RR-tune so all I have to do is send in my ECU when I'm ready. The Next group dyno day is April 9th and that's when I will have hard numbers on the RR-Tune for me

DCguy/Liquidtek/Minator will have the results that most people want to see one with Intake/Gutted Primaries/Exhaust/RR Tune & Intake/Exhaust/TTFS Tune & Intake/Borla Exhaust/PPE headers/RR tune w/7200 limiter

Will update this thread once we have our results next Saturday
Where are the dynos?

Sorry guys it took so long but here are my two dyno plots below:

-First one was done back in November #'s are 357 Whp & 351Wtq stock w/HPS tube/stock filter

-Today's dyno was most curious and disappointing to say the least I did 355 Whp & 349 Wtq

So the dyno said today that I gained exactly ZERO lol from the Borla exhaust addition?! Which I know is completely false but nonetheless on the two runs it didn't show any improvement.

I will be going back with a few guys on April 9th to dyno with the RR-tune and check my numbers then

I just wanted to upload these as a baseline up unto the Borla then the RR-tune in April. I think the other guys are going to upload there's here soon.

Baseline Dyno done in November:
357 Whp & 351 Wtq
Stock exhaust

Todays dyno with Borla installed (approx. 7 weeks ago)
355 Whp & 349 Wtq
Dyno said I gained nothing today lol.....

Well here's the details on those numbers guys........5280ISF and me don't have the tune yet but wanted to upload the dyno sheets to show more or less a baseline before we put in the ECU tune that way guys can see the difference the tune makes on this particular dyno. But I agree with Josh these are stock #'s and don't know why the dyno didn't quantify the Borla addition for both me and 5280ISF???

What's the real issue was my baseline in Nov was the same 357 Whp and this dyno showed no gain with the Borla when I was expecting 20-28 Whp gain?? Anyhow this thread isn't really suppose to be about my non-Borla gains just wanted to post up some pre-ECU tune dyno's for reference.

The other 2 guys that had the tune hopefully will post up there results today?

Not everyone is modding, I would be happy to dyno my car for $65 and see if it makes the same #'s as his 2012 with the same intake/filter.

I drive my car 2-4 times a month on a lonely highway, would love to have 400+ to the wheels, but with the new house, $$$ is tight.
