Default Please help, my f just flipped out!!!

Happy Friday to us all. I just fired up my F and I have all of these warning lights (attached pic) popping up. I had undid the rearview mirror to tighten it, but unplugging and reattaching this is a simple thing, right? The car sounds fine, but it also won't let me shift out of Park (the Shift Lock is locked). Has anyone experienced this?? Please help, I'm freaking out....

Lots of people have crazy things happen in these cars when the batteries start to go, or the terminals are corroded.

I wonder if disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it would reset this

Yeah I would try unplugging battery for few mins and reconnect and see if that fixes it, like others say there has been some ties to battery dying causing eletric steering light to turn on and act crazy like yours is.

Have you been having any battery problems? For instance car takes longer than normal to turn over?

Go ahead and try that first and report back.

The battery seems to have been fine lately. It was near 80 degrees in Austin today, so it's not like she's getting cold starts. I just also noticed that my rearview mirror is dead. I can't find where this fuse is in the owner's manual, for the life of me. Does anyone know where this fuse is located so I can see if it's blown?

couldnt find a fuse for the mirror the manual doesnt show there is one rather this is the closest I found looks like #10 in the engine bay fuse box the manual also states there is one on driver side and passanger side you might want to check the covers as those have al the fuses labeled...

Doubt a fuse would do that though did you try d/c battery, did you power on the mirror? Anything extra you mightve done during the reattaching?

Ok, all is back normal. Turns out there is a 10A fuse next to the dead pedal (driver's side) that impacts:
We are now cool. Blown fuse that has all of the following on it:
-traction control
-electric steering assist
-rear view mirror
-AIR CONDITIONING
-tpms
-shift lock
....and prob some others.

It was blown, and I happened to have a spare! So happy right now!!

One fuse does all of that... Crazy but glad it's back to normal.

I had the same thing happen to me. I replaced the fuse but it blew again while I was driving. Then it wouldn't start again. It turned out that there was a short in the brake light wiring.
So if the brake light is shorted, the computer thinks your foot is not on the brake and the car won't start.

you have to figure out why it blew in the first place.
