Need to PM someone with some questions
Like the title says. Some generic questions about an ISF I may or may not purchase.
Thanks in advance.

Looking at this car and just got the PPI done earlier today. PPI came back solid with the exception of needing to replace the battery. Dealer quoted me an out the door price including having it shipped to Louisiana at 36k. Original price being offered was 34,9xx.
Car has nearly 70k miles so that is my only real concern. Dealer seemed pretty firm at 36. I guess my question is is it really worth trying to negotiate to 34-35k?

Asked them for the maintenance record ? Since it over 60k miles, spark plugs needed to be replace, coolant , differential oil, brake oil, pads, rotors ? And some of the recalls. Dont get oem battery, just get the redtop one from amazon . Also it says lexus remaining warranty ? Ask them what it is ? Could be extended one ?

18 service records available and all of the above mentioned was checked satisfactorily with the PPI. Not sure what is left with the original factory warranty but the dealership adds a 3 month power train warranty.

looks solid and the 2011 will have all the upgraded goodies and less likely to have water pump issues. I would say see if they could budge. Nobody in state is going to buy that thing this time of year. Why not ?? LOL But it is a good price and one of the best colors and oem wheel styles in my opinion

definitely a nice car, miles should not discourage you from buying the car as we all know we are backed up by toyota reliability i am not a fan of the '11 wheels but they can always be replaced with after market one's lol needless to say you won't regret your purchase as the '11 has all the goodies the older models didn't have

if your not set on the color, then i think you might be able to get a better deal somewhere else. Obviously that color is bringing in a preimum

The last one, has been on the lot for prolly over 6+ months, so if everything checks out then you should be able to get a good deal on it.

So looking at that ad (I have seen that before) that is a solid price for that car. However there is always room to negotiate on final price!!! I would feel comfortable paying 33-34K for that car. I have basically the same exact car as that and I got mine with 20K less miles than that and I paid 35K but what even crazier is when I initially saw the car I got 4 months prior it was priced at 41K.. the dealer just couldn't move it (everyone had ****ty credit who tried to buy it). So when I inquired about it the dealer was eager to make a deal and we made it in about 3 days while I got the PPI done at Lexus of Clearlake in Houston.
I don't know how the weather is in Chicago right now, but it may be an option to fly and drive to LA, or is the weather just dog **** out on the east coast? That could possibly save you a few hundred to 1000 bucks right there. With gas so cheap you could get a one way ticket for 150 bucks and probably spend 150 in gas getting home.
Honestly I think that is a good deal and like Tammer said the USB ( to me) is the best color for the ISF. prepare for alot of attention tho.. it comes with that color. The price is right give or take a few hundred bucks. I love the finish on the wheels ( mine are a darker gunmetal color).. See if they can make it an even 34K and tell them you are coming to get it.
BTW what is the break down of that 36K? What's the Cars final price?.. is that 36K, shipping to you, dealer paperwork/processing fees? You shouldn't be paying any Tags, tax or License fees since you are buying out of state so you should also make sure of that..
