I was floored with quoted insurance rates on ISF
I called my local Progressive agent and got a quote for full coverage on model year 2008 and 2012 ISF in Milwaukee Wisconsin. For six months the 2008 was $351 and for model year 2012... CHEAPER. $321 I could not believe how cheap it was considering I have a speeder form 8/14, 2/15 and 4/15. 3 speeders and my insurance on a 416 HP car was less than on my 4 cylinder Rav4 wtf? I am still astonished. I told her she better send me and email copy so I have proof. Seems like the ante has been upped to now set in stone a purchae that was my only reflex was not wanting to pay full coverage on a car I hardly drive. But I am full in now.

insurance was the only reason why i went with teh ISF and not the GTR at the time of purchase. i always pay pay off my yearly insurance at the end of the year. so cheap. its at about 80 a month now. 80 a month for a 400+hp car.

My quote for a 2012 ISF from Farmers & AAA for full coverage was roughly $231 a month.
I've been driving for 8 years. No accident or tickets. I'm 26.
Decided not to by one yet because I considered that too much.

They did that when I bought my ducati. Went from a 2006 zx6r paying 500/year with a clean record. I was 30. Progressive quoted me 2100 a year. Being a fast expensive bike I was sticker shocked but just assumed that's what I'd have to pay to play the game. Signed my paper work and called to get insurance active on it. The quote went from 2100 to 5800. Progressive classifies a bike a superbike by their 0-60 times. The first lady forgot to check the "superbike" option when she quoted me. You'd think that it would just automatically be tied to the VIN. I freaked out. Over 500 a month on a bike I just now signed the paper work on. I called several insurances and found a so much better deal. State Farm quoted me 600/yr. I cancelled all of my progressive policies and made the switch.

I would just switch insurances.. everyone is out there looking for your business.. At least you dont live in cali.. I pay 135 a month for my 2011 ISF with USAA. I would have paid 60 a month if I still lived in Oklahoma...
fawking Cali!

From what I've learned, different agents within the SAME company can/will give you different quotes, with the same policy in hand. I know this because I called four different agents from Mercury, and got quotes for my 12 C63 with the rest of my family. One quoted me near $5,000 for 3 drivers and 3 cars, while the lowest quote I got was $3,200. Ever wonder how that works? I didn't ask, and just accepted that offer haha

You guys are so lucky you don't live in New York, the rated here are nuts. I'm paying $118 a month for my ISF and that's a multi car discount and just covers theft and collision. I only use the car less than 10k a year with a clean license. Oh and that's with a $1,000 deductible. That's all state for you. I don't want to even mention what Gieco quoted me.

Yea, it's must easier to get accurate quotes if the agents enter the VIN of the car. Too many errors can be made by just entering vehicle description and etc. Good thing you found a better deal!
Haha

yeah I'm paying $139/month, alot more expensive than insurance on an IS350. But it's also dependent on what coverages you pick. I max out on bodily injury and that is easily the most expensive thing to cover other than collision.

She did use the VIN! But neglected to checkmark a box that lists it as a superbike.

I was paying $110/mo on my 300zx and IS300, it shifted up to $160/mo when I swapped the IS300 for 2008 ISF. Geico full coverage with AAA, I'm 24 with clean driving record.

I'm 22 year old male, no moving violations on record (have a 5 year old failure to yield, but I think it says not applicable or something on my insurance) and I pay $85 / month for full coverage on my '08 IS-F. From the best insurance (USAA is the best, not AAA, sorrynotsorry :P )
My '04 Subaru WRX wagon was $110 / month and '13 STI was $150 / month. Can't believe how cheap the F is, maybe better safety ratings or my insurance views the IS chassis not the model? Either way, I'm happy.
