Welcome to the family and congrats on the F! I do agree...it's the most challenging color to detail and maintain appearance-wise, but when you give her some time and attention, there is nothing greater in shine and luster.
Not sure if it was already addressed, but 08's tend to have needed a water pump replacement.
Aside from that, the RR Racing tune does seem to be promising. Some have adopted it early on with great feedback, while others are waiting to see if there are any kinks to work out in a choice to not need to re-send the ECU for multiple tunings. But there is a fair amount of aftermarket parts available for the F, and the forum is a great place to see what others have done and read feedback on those products as well as tips on installation or certain shops to visit and the such.
Enjoy your F and looking forward to seeing you get the mod bug! lol

Trust me I know how hard it is to keep that black looking clean. My tsx and g were both black. According to the Carfax the water pump was changed by Lexus 10k miles ago. That's the first thing I checked. Its good to know that there is ecu support for the car. Funny you talk about mods, I wanted to remove the mufflers today but the shop was closing.
