I felt an increase in the mid/high end - it is not dramatic tho.

I almost got the X-Force because I got the Borla and I would have to agree. There is a difference but it's not dramatic.

So just got this installed, exhaust shop had to cut the tip and they had to bend the crossbar, not sure if its hitting but I heard a clunk on the way home, guess il have to take it back if I keep hearing it. Anyone notice a lot of drone on the highway? It sounds really loud or maybe it just needs to be broken in? Either way it sounds mean and I'm happy with it so far.

There is almost zero drone on my varex with the valve open..and it is completely eliminated with the valve closed.

Thinking about it a bit more, the drone you are experiencing could be from the exhaust making contact somewhere..

Installed the xforce last week and there is some drone, install was easy everything bolted right up, didn't have to cut anything and I did it on 4 jack stands. Low end the exhaust has a deep rumble but when you get to high RPMs it gets quiet, I have the muffler on right now but I'm waiting for some free time to get to the muffler shop to take out the mufflers and weld on some flanges on the quad tips and go straight pipe. And I can still go back and forth with muffler or no muffler if needed

Throw up some pics when you get the tips installed. Any chance the tips would work with the mufflers on, or just not enough room?

Awesome! Be sure to post plenty of pics when you get a chance. Plus a comparo video would be sweet. Still on my to-do list. Unfortunately the NW is actually dealing with a winter season for once so modding has taken a bit of a backburner.

thats what I was thinking also.. but then again this is my first v8 with a catback so maybe it's just way more noticeable to me. It sounds sick glad I finally got one.

I know the overall design is close to the joez offering, but how does it compare in sound? Anyone compare these exhausts? Borla vs joe z vs xforce?

i have tips similar in length and they are to long to use with the mufflers. however, once i don't have to drive my F at 4 am in the muffler, I might plan to go mufflerless and do same thing as Jondi
