The dual wiring harness allows for both mufflers to be controlled by 1 control box using 1 remote.

Curious to hear this with headers. Might be the just right combo since it sounds like its pretty tame on stock headers.

The smaller size of the varex piping bugged me, so I didn't go with it.

If you get a chance, please measure the pipe diameter.. It is advertised as 2.5" (just like all the others). I didn't get a chance to measure mine before install, and there is some doubt.

I'm pretty sure the piping is 2.5 inches as I measured a few pieces before it was installed. I'm looking forward to hearing the X-Force exhaust(non-varex) with headers though. I've had mine installed on for about 1.5 months and I still love the sounds but it does seem a bit quiet sometimes at lower RPMs but maybe that's just because I'm getting used to it. When I floor it or do some spirited driving it sounds great but can also be quiet on the freeways when cruising. My wife even commented how it wasn't much louder than the stock exhaust on the highway.

One of the things I have noticed is that is very quiet when you are off the gas too. All aftermarket exaust I have had on other cars were louder on decel. Either way, I love the sound - and the lack of drone. Should get louder with headers..

Install of the exhaust went okay. Have to cut the tips on the muffler because it's too long and hits the bumper/faux exhaust tips. Was short two bolts/nuts, but got an extra gasket.

Was this the new "updated" version?

I just got an email from Snail Performance saying the designs were fixed and no longer need modification.

And was this the Varex or non- Varex?

My Varex went in without any mods - but it is rubbing lightly in places, needs some adjustment to be perfect.

Just ordered a non-varex from summit yesterday. Empathy did you have to reweld the hangers?

I got the new "updated" non-varex version from Snail Performance in early-May 2016 and the tips needed to be trimmed to fit. The shop that installed my exhaust did not have to re-weld the hangers though.

Thanks Andrew. I think I might remove the bumper tips and tig a bazooke style tips on the mufflers.

It's a shame it's not a dual tip like the Borla, ECS tuning offers swivel tips in black that adjust at its mounting point.

Non-varex, but the manufacturing date stamped on the stickers were from early last year. I ordered the exhaust 2-3 weeks ago from snail performance. Was shipped to me from xforce directly. Are they shipping out old stuff?
