I am running RCF 19X9 wheels on the front of my ISF with 255/35/19 Bridgestone S-04 with no issues and no spacers. The inside edge of the rim of the wheel does come within a whisker of the A Arm, but clears it just fine. With the 9" RCF wheels, there is actually more space between the wheel spokes and the front caliper. I can actually reach behind the wheels spokes now and wax the caliper. That was not possible with the stock 8" ISF wheel.

OK, RCF front is 19x9 ET50, ISF rear is 19x9 ET55, so there is 5mm difference and ISF's wheel would go more inside. Do you think there is additional 5mm to the A arm?
I don't like spacers.
I guess I will need to wait till winter is over and once I have my summer wheels on I will just swap rears to the front and have a go. If it works, it would be the best option for me. I will report back later.

Sure I did Lou.
I wasn't sure what 'whisker' is - now I checked and I guess 5mm is more than a whisker, right?
Sorry for my English guys, but in Polish we have a lot of words which can be interpreted in different ways depending on who says it

Are you using that size on the front or rear (or all)? If not all, what size are the others? I believe it's the ratio between the front & rear overall diameters that is more important regarding possible impact to the suspension geometry.. Though, I could be wrong.. It wouldn't be the first time

I'm already running 255/35 up front, and I'm seriously considering 275/30 for the rear to replace my worn 265/35. So, I'll be going from a 26.0/26.3 OD set-up to 26.0/25.6. Also, I plan to install Penske coilovers this spring, and I'm hoping any potential negative impact from this tire set-up can be mitigated with coilover adjustments.

Nankang makes decent 19inch tires for those on a budget. I have 235/35/19 and 265/35/19. all four from America's Tire should run about less than $650 including $15 per tire insurance. however, these are one rating below Z, but still are low profile. I have thise on my 07 GS 350. I could've gone 275/30/19 though.

Thanks for that info.. Any opinion on whether OD is more critical for front or rear (or equally so)? Also, how do you like your latest PSS combo (255/275)? Do you sense any negative impact to the suspension geometry? Have you taken it to a track with that set-up?

I am perfectly happy with my 255 fronts on 8.5" wheels. It would be nice if they were wider, but for an OEM based setup, it's pretty tough to beat.
