I ran the 245/35, 285/30 combo (Potenza S-04s) for a number of years on my stock '08 wheels before I upgraded to my RCF wheels:

Go 235/265. Don't want to lose the steering response by going with tires too wide for the oem rim widths especially 2011 wheels. Wider is not always better and it doesn't mean u have more traction unless the contact patch is more (not always the case when going wide wider tires)

^^^^IMHO the original ISF was way under tired and came with wheels that were too narrow. Lexus sort of rectified the wheel situation in 2012, but for some reason stuck with the same size tires front and rear. They corrected this error with the RCF that finally has meaty tires up front
I can attest that 245/35 on stock wheels or 255/35 on wider than stock wheels work and fit great up front and with the proper size rear tire (275/30, 285/30 or 295/30) greatly reduce the understeer inherent in the stock ISF with stock wheels and tires.
My ISF with RCF wheels, 255/35 & 295/30 tires, F-Sport rear sway bar and RRRacing lower LCA bushings absolutely has no understeer IMO and is extremely neutral handling. I may just keep this car forever

Could you please give exact spec of RCF wheels? I might consider new wheels... Did you need to modify your fenders to use these tires? Will PSS fit? (they are a bit wider than Bridgestones).
After calculating / reading different threads I'm not convinced about 245 / 275 combo with PSS on '08 rims, especially that I want to take it to track from time to time.

I'm really not trying to convince you of anything except to share my experiences with the 245, 285 combo that I had used for 5 years.

Pole Position
Was just browsing on Tirerack.com. The 235/35/19 Front, 265/30/19 Rear Michelin Pilot Super Sports are actually cheaper than the OEM size 225/40/19 Front, 255/35/19 Rear Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Must be an unpopular size.
