I would be very interested to hear if anyone has bought and installed one with the Varex mufflers. This looks like the perfect setup with the right balance between everyday driving and those times when you just want to be a hoonigan.

I've spent the past hour looking at various videos of V8 engined cars with customs exhausts with Varex mufflers. Pity the shipping prices for two mufflers to the UK is the same as the cost of buying one muffler. Once I factor in taxes etc a pair of muffflers alone comes to £800/$1150.

I bought one but didn't have a chance to install yet. I've been so busy with work. From the look of it so far, the quality looks pretty good. I will do a full review once I have time. Here are some pictures.

Box1

Box2

Packaging was great. Each box was stuffed full of paper cushions.

As mentioned earlier in this thread, the hangers are not made for us spec. The exhaust shop can weld a new location which is not a big deal.

All sections have these quality control stickers. I need to remove them.

Very Nice! Looking forward to your review and some sound clips!

Where did you end up buying it from? And was it at $599 like the thread originally stated in the beginning?

Thx

Looks good from the pictures you posted neweyslex. Let us know how everything works out for you once installed. I wonder if we can convince xforce to eventually make exhaust hangers for us owners across the pond because if they did then I'm sure it would help them sell a few more setups for all us diy'ers.

I wonder if there would be any way to attach double tips to this system to get rid of the stock Lexus bumper mounted diffuser/tips?

A true statement, from pictures I have seen online of both. However, if they hold and the exhausts lasts who cares? Not may spend time laying under their car looking at the exhaust. Sometimes people just want to justify that they paid a large sum for a part. An exhaust system is not rocket science, and most if not all of the ISF systems use a muffler from magnaflow, so nothing proprietary there.
