should I feel comfortable with this '12 F purchase?!
#17
Seems like a good price to me. I paid 44k for my '12 a year ago, 26k miles. As far as the warranty I really wouldn't be worried about it. Mine will expire soon and I don't have any plans to getting an extended warranty.
I'd check the service history on it though, just to be sure it's not a problem child. I was actually able to do that with mine buy just registering the VIN on Lexus.com as it were mine...hehehe.
Was able to see all the service history etc. There are other ways also I'm sure.

Maybe in a few years who knows... you might be able to find a 08-09 for 20-25... Even at 30-40k the 11+ models still offer a lot, I think you still get a lot of bang for buck with these cars. I couldve bought a lot of different brand new cars for the price I paid for my f, but in the end I enjoy having my f a lot more hence the reason I went with the F instead of a brand new car.
I really think it'll be one of those cars that'll hold value and maybe when we get older have the same type of value like the supras. I consider these cars to still be in high in demand in the future.
Its definitely an iconic car and definitely one of Lexus's first sporty car like this one. And this is the rare one with all the unique features that cannot be compared to a standard 250 or even a fully loaded 350.

Sorry guys for not responding sooner!! Was somewhat being desrect about the color combo since it was rare, lol. But it is a Starfire Pearl with red interior!!! Happy to say that I did indeed go pick it up yesterday!!!!! Drove from NC to Michigan to grab her! Got it for $41k out the door and it only has 21k miles in it!!! 1 owner as well. Car is immaculate inside and out, not a scratch on it...could pass as a brand new car if no one knew any better!! Came with a full tank of gas, washed, fresh oil change, brand new set of Michelin Pilot tires (sames that come from the factory).
Driving it back was my first time in an F and I'm definitely in love! Was a fun 12 hr drive home! I love the sound of my IS300 with hks dragger 2 exhaust and SRT intake and didn't think sound could get any better....but I think the F's engine/exhaust not tops it!!
Also the car came with a clear bra on the hood, front number and sideview mirrors!!
Here's a few pics! Def happy with my purchase!
Thanks guys for the advice. Have many mods instore for it. Should be starting this week ;-)

Just to clarify, when you say $41k OTD, you're including tax, tag and fees??
Seems like a pretty good deal to me. I'm in NC as well and in the market also. The 11+ cars have caught my attention...
OH, and lastly...how did you find it?? autotrader?
