Changing the front seats(need advice)
Hi everyone,
I have had my IS-F for 2 months now and have decided to keep it for years to come.
Original plan was to keep it for a year or two and then trade it in on a GTR.
I want to keep the car fairly stock, however the one thing I really want to do is change the front seats.
I want to change the front 2 seats, and I am looking for red seats(possibly Bride,Sparco etc.)
What would be the best way to do this ?Should I get my front seats reupholstered?
Or buy a pair of red aftermarket seats...has anyone done this?

I have is250 planted brackets but had to notch them to allow clearance of my corbeau lg1 sliders, you'll either want to reuse the seat belt or buckle and stash the seatbelt or add resistors to trick it to use harness's. I am the only one to knowledge (besides the ccsr cars) to figure out a steering wheel swap besides the flat bottom or regularly available isf wheels, I used a is300 works bell paddle shift Neo and momo drifter wheel. I have the electrical manual for 2008 (might be same for you for the most part)

First you need to decide which seats you want, then you have to find the right bracket kit for them.
The 2nd thing you will need are some resistors to plug into the seat airbag sensors, this will close the circuit in the absence of the factory seats, so you won't get an airbag light on the dash. You'll need to find out what resistance value (in Ohms) to get, I believe there was another thread about it.
I would personally go with RECARO, but there are other good seats out there.
