I have a set of Mitsubishi Evo X Recaro seats that I want to install in the IS. I think Wedge is the most well known company for aftermarket seat brackets. They don't have application for a second generation IS listed, but I've read that the seat brackets are the same as the IS300. Can anyone confirm if this is true? Thanks.

I've read that the is300 brackets will work with 2is. Planted also makes a 2is specific bracket. I have a status racing seat i'm debating on installing if i can't sell it soon

i bought a recaro seat rail for the isf (same part number for is300 2is) and used a recaro from evo 7,i had to drill a new hole for the evo recaro to fit...oem recaros have different positions for the screw,so its not bolt-on if the seats are from another car with oem recaro
