Oh hell yeah. I will always record. Why would you do a track day and not record. Ideally you want to see what you were doing right and wrong as well as to relive every awesome apex and corner exit on the big screen from the comfort of my man cave chaise lounger

F!!!!!!!!

Yeah, when I went to the track to drive exotics at the Las Vegas Speedway, there was a $79 option to keep the dashcam footage of the driving and boy was it worth it! It's so great to see where you mess up and where you can improve etc..

Right on ! I dont see how anyone would do it and not record. You learn so much from watching plus there is the "track glory". You can chill in the man cave and watch yourself drive on track. I always like watching

It's always great to see the driver learning from mistakes or even having other friends/track aficionados give insight on things like braking, lines, and potentially where to improve the next time out. It makes us better drivers on the track and on the street as a result. Great to see the footage from your latest runs, my friend.

Thanks bnizzle

I am really liking this thread. We have a lot of F'ers here who really enjoy driving, learning to drive at 10/10ths, and have a deeper passion for performance driving.

The F's are rare...........but the track F's are the rarest

Yeah, there is always a little learning curve but considering that the sessions are only 20 minutes and there is no passing on the first lap it makes it easier to know what you are getting into before hand. Pluds anything to increase the fun factor and reduce the anxiety and butterflies that come with hitting the track is worth it. Just in the first few days of really watching the CWVR videos I have noticed the elevation changes, a corner that is crested with cones to the left to keep people from going off, as well as the fact that max speeds look like they are not higher than 100-105 ( even in the 2016 GS-F).

Will de downloading Harrys lap timer. I want to see if I can get into the low 2 minute range. There is a popular ISF video at Chuckwalla and the time was 2:06. The driver was great but the car was understeering 90% of the time and got a bit loose at one point too. I am thinking with my wheels and tires and a lot more grip I can beat that time.

it was organised by a Lexus dealer in Sydney so very well run event, food provided, driver training provider, hot lap in an LFA provided (..woah) so yeah a day that I will remember for a very long time that's for sure!
