2008 vs 2011 IS F Worth the Premium?

When I was looking, the +11s where $10k more than the 08-09s.
With that said, I would say get the 08-09. With the ~$10k you saved, spend it on a 'better' aftermarket LSD than the +11s OEM LSD, buy LED headlamps, buy KW coilovers. And youll have a ride that is comparable(if not even better) than the +11s plus the wheels you like to boot, and still have money left over.

I am not saying the newer cars aren't better because obviously they are, but my 08 has been 100% flawless for 77k miles. Sometimes I think of upgrading, but what would be the point? The car is still 95% the same and I would be shelling out thousands for tweaks that aren't worth the price of entry. Love my lowly 08 just as much as the day I bought it. ISF's are all great, dependable performers and you really can't go wrong as long as you get a good example.

I've driven '08 ISF's in Houston, the ride is hard and a bit bouncy on freeway. I also driven a 2011 and 2012 in Houston and the ride is very much improved and able to absorb the bad roads better.. 2011-up is much better car (ride-wise)
I also driven an '08-'09 in Atlanta. The roads are much better and I didn't notice much harshness.. So it depends on the roads really.. But if you live anywhere like Houston, Go newer..
