Default Anyone eyeing on the new Alfa Romeo Giulia as an ISF replacement?

Just wondering if anyone is finding the new Alfa Romeo Giulia exciting ??

Anyone would find it as a nice ISF replacement? You can really see some visual similarities :-)))

It's definetly striking ...... plus 505HP, 0-60 3.8 sec, near 50/50 weight distribution.

As a regular watcher of TopGear, the ALFA ROMEO reliability is always the joke in every episode.

Alfa doesn't scream reliability to me. Cool car but I can't imagine what it cost to keep that thing serviced and running in comparison to the F.

Exactly. From what I can tell, Alfa has not made great strides in improving it's reliability. Awesome car though.

I'll go for three to complete the trifecta. I have heard and read horrible stories about Alfa/Fiat reliability. The 500 has been a disaster for them... Yugo type disaster.

You have to admit that the styling and performance is remarkably similar to the IS F though. I thought it was an IS F the first time I saw it in a magazine.

I was going to say the same thing, going from a reliability standpoint to a company that's plagued with reliability issues doesn't seem like very appealing for a Lexus consumer.

Yes love the looks and performance but that's as far I'll compliment it.

Looks great with the exception of the Alfa front fascia. Reliability though.

ATS-V is still on the top of my list. At least there is a Cadillac dealership in my town.

Aggressive driving scenes look like CGI to me.

Great looking car - reliability will kill it.

How much?

1. Engine start/stop button is located on the steering wheel..........what if someone pushed it by mistake? Not a really wise design....

2. Tach should be in the middle........

Who owns Alfa now? Who built the engine?

Price of the car?

IONLY SOUND - YouTube[/url]
exciting - probably.
visually more similar to 3-series than ISF IMO
as many have said, likely drawback is reliability.

Not a fan of the front end. Like ours a ton more.

Once again they have had issues for years with maintenance. Reliable is main reason I drive a lexus (well certain ones).

I will pass.

car drama stresses me the hell out. I dont need any more in my life. I remind myself of this anytime I think about buying a Z28, ZL1, or GT500.

I am sure that will be an awesome car while it lasts...

but generally speaking italian (fiat, maserati, ferrari, alfa) reliability is worse than German and possibly the same level as the British

that alone is a different class from the IS-F
