Smile My "new to me" 08 USB ISF... :)

Hi guys,

So finally after 2.5 years looking for this exact car with the options, exterior and interior combo and within my budget (well actually I went 10% more) I am finally part of this "ISF exclusive club"

I just got delivery of my car all the way from NY to TX..

It's a 2008, USB with Alpine interior, ALL options, 79K miles with a bonus of having the PPE headers, Intake, Borla exhaust, upgraded headlights and brand new tires. It'll need brakes soon so I'll be looking for that.

I have always liked owning cars that look "normal" but that are nothing but normal... My current rides are a Mazdaspeed Miata and a Mazdaspeed 3 (for sale now)... and I have always been a car enthusiast...(Rx7, RX8, Track Miatas, 240Z, MR2, Fiat 124 Abarth...)

This ISF is at a different level... I have only driven it for 2 miles since I still have to do all the registration, inspection and such... and can't wait to drive it everyday...

Looking forward to being part of this amazing club...

Nice find, congrats. I'm also trying to make a switch from the Mazdaspeed 3 to an ISF. Might be parting the car out soon and sell it over the winter.

Very nice, love the color combo. I would have loved to have the alpine interior but I like to take my dog places and were planning on having kids someday and I didn't want to ruin it. What part of Texas are you in? I'm in the Waco area

Welcome to the club! The color combo is one of the best available. You'll enjoy her greatly with the headers already installed.

Holy cow! Jealous as heck you have all these great options already in place! Congratulations!

How crazy is this, how completely insane: just 48 hours ago I took delivery of my SGM 2008, with 79k miles, in New Hampshire, and I'm in the process of driving it back home to Texas!!! Yesterday I had lunch in NYC Chinatown, and devirginized it on the rough roads of Queens...Manhattan... Jersey. Made it through Philly and Baltimore late last night and now camping out in DC for 48 hours haha

Guys,

Thanks for the replies. As I said, it took me 2.5 years to find her... There were some in between but they were either out of my budget or had been in an accident.

Indeed I love this color. I almost purchased a black one (my second choice) but my wife made me realize that if this was really my dream car, why settle for my second option?

I am in Austin, TX.

Parasitius, 93MSB: We should have a get together soon. I met a couple of ISF owners 3 weeks ago and that is what really inspired me to really go for it.

Parasitius: Good luck in your trip. I wanted to pick her up but I just could not get off from work. Take pics on your way to Austin. Safe travels.

Hopefully my Speed 3 sells soon... I hate to see her out in the streets.

As of now, I could say... "I've got the blues" lol lol

Looking forward...

P.

I went and test drove that car, absolutely perfect IMO didn't get it because I was unsure of the Alpine interior and the fact that I work on cars all the time.

Great pickup!!!!

Definitely let me know, everyone around here in a F is either old or not very big car people. I would love to get together and go on a cruise or something, especially in the Austin area.
