We have both 89 and 91 here. I'm at a higher altitude and will be filling 91.

I never run lower than 93 octane in my F or in my bikes! I try to use only Sunoco or Shell unless on a road trip like today I was forced to use Gulf 93 at $2.79 a gallon!!

93 octane at all time. But 93 at Philips 66 gas station does not feel smooth as 93 at Citgo gas station.

Your 98 RON is the same as our 93 (RON+MON)/2. We use a different method of calculating, but the fuels are almost identical in their octane properties.

I've only put 91 octane gas in my ISF, but I've experimented with different octane levels in my GS350. In the GS350, I can't tell one bit of difference between 87, 89, or 91. The car seems to run exactly the same.

Awesome. I remember watching a cnbc episode where the guy says premium gas was just a waste of money. He put 87 gas in his c5 corvette and says it runs fine. They even went around to customers filling premium gas and telling them that they are wasting their money. I don't know why they would when some cars require premium gas? Oh well....

Which company supplies the better gas. I was told Chevron. They however do not supply 93 or above here in Atlanta.
