Headed to my local dealership in the morning to have them give it a once over. Will report back any findings.

My range on my ISF is about 310, The previous driver probably had a heavy foot, Let the computer adjust to your driving and you will see the range go up.

not sure if anything wrong with yours but it definitely changes depending on how the car was driven before from the last owner, i just got mine 2 months ago and notice that it changes depending on how you drive it also whether you do highway mile or city. I usually get anywhere from 230 to 300 depending on how heave my foot is

for the record the isF is amazing on road trips, i just recently came back from a 3000 mile road trip and the mileage was about 400 miles to the tank, an average of almost 29mpg

isF for the win

Default Cruising range on 2012 IS-F

I get close to 275/tank. That's mainly back roads driving with maybe one 20mi commute on the highway a week, in stop and go crummy atlanta traffic. Just reset everything and drive, I don't usually even look at that calculator, I like being in sport/M and have the F icon showing instead!

Report from the SA is everything is normal. He checked the knock factor and it indicates 93 octane has been used, so no issues there.

He did, however, discover a bend in the passenger front wheel and a couple broken clips under the front spoiler and some paint overspray, which means the car had taken a good hop over a curb. I contacted the dealership, and they are going to repair both front wheels (driver front had minor curb rash) - for free.

The computers were reset, and I am seeing 26 mpg highway and 18 city so far. I'll update again in a week after I've had a chance for true averages, and hopefully my wife won't get behind the wheel between then and now and screw up my number with her tip-of-the-toe driving style.

I get on average 250 miles per tank (about 16-17 Tank MPG). I drive 70% city and 30% highway. About 65% of the time I'm easy on the throttle and 35% of the time, I'm on it hard.

If I drive all highway, at about 70 MPH, I've seen the Tank MPG get up to almost 27 MPG.

FYI: don't be the type to consistently run your tank down to gas light. This is the primary cause of overworking your fuel pump when low on fuel and that's what causes it to burn out long term.

There's still more than 3 gallons of fuel in mine when the light comes on. Toyota uses a subtank to ensure the pump is completely bathed in fuel and prevent overheating even at low fuel levels. I would not worry about this at all.

I am 200-250 local driving about 18mpg. the computer needs to read how you are driving and adjust. of course if you are driving it like its stolen the computer will adjust down and if you are driving somewhat normally (a bit tough to do in the IS F) it will adjust up. Keep an eye on it, likely not an issue.
