Default Installed aFe Power air filter - made a how to video

Latest mod for my F, nothing too special I installed an aFe Power air filter recently, was also considering the Tom's but went with the aFe because of the price...nice product, not sure if it adds too much to the car power wise, but simple enough to install.

Justin,

Thanks for making that video, I have been waiting on the Tom's air filter to come back into stock hopefully this month?.... Anyhow did you go for the oiled version ( I think the Pro 5R?) or the non-oiled version of the AFE??

Hey Gabe, sure. I went with the Pro-Dry version (non-oiled).

No problem, thanks for the comment!

I don't think you can go wrong with either the TOM's or aFe, both nice products!

Very nice video, I would personally disconnect the MAF sensor before removing the intake tube.

I am also running the aFe in addition to the HPS mid pipe. Car runs good.

Thanks! Probably not a bad idea on the MAF just to be safe.

I now have the JoeZ exhaust w/ the aFe filter. Loving it!

I just got the aFe filter from Amazon.

I got the full JoeZ cat/header back exhaust system from the trademotion site (just search "joez isf exhaust).

Very nice review of the installation process! Shouldn't take anymore than 10 mins give or take.
Have any of you noticed any slight difference in sound? Gas mileage? Power? In either the Joe z or afe filters? Obviously won't be a huge gain in either, just curious as to what users have noticed.
