If you buy the headers brand new, they will come with an O2 simulator that will ensure you don't get any CEL's. If you buy them used, hit up PPE and they'll send you one for a nominal fee.

Sweet man thanks for the tip. I never knew that. Ive looked into it but everyone that seemed to have the headers installed said their check engine light was coming on. I guess i never paid attention if they where used or not

Right off the bat. EXPENSIVE!!! But well worth it. You get a unique look to the engine bay. As to hp gains i never really felt much of a difference nor took it to a dyno. Im waiting for my headers to do it all together

45k miles on PPE headers and no CEL. The O2 Sim is the key.

Getting the O2 simulator, and finding a competent shop for the install seems to be the key points if you don't want any CEL's.

Majority of the folks with issues got one or both wrong from what I can tell.

Best of luck with your new headers.

I'd say go with PPE, I've had them for well over a year now with zero issues.

PPE here, black stainless and there's great.

Be prepared, your F will be LOUD after the header install.

Are you going to do the work yourself, or have a shop do it? Due to the rarity of the ISF, it can often be difficult finding someone with experience installing these, which means that your labor time (if you're paying for it) may be longer than you might anticipate. As with anything else, having a shop with experience installing these is extremely helpful.

This is the biggest power gainer for the car outside of NO2, so congrats and enjoy!

Just a thought for your Lexus technician friends...JM Lexus of Ft Lauderdale Florida has a JM customs Creations dept. They do full bolt on customizations for customers, including header installations. Perhaps, you can inform your fiends to get a hold of their technicians in that department to give them advice and tips to better suit the process for you guys? Good luck!
