Get a ported box, a good 10" sub and you will have to constantly turning down the base instead of up like the stock sub. A 10" ported box barely take up any room of your trunk. I couldn't have been more happy with mine

Looks good...do you tap your speaker wire from sub woofer speaker to factory ML amplifier? It looks clean...I appreciate the picture.

Man that's right were the 20lb bottle is mounted.. I had a thread bookmarked for a shallow mount pioneer that basically fit in the stock location, the guy who wrote it said it was a lot better over stock ml speaker and not adding weight of a big box sub

It's sad, isn't it? The base system in my IS350 sounded better, IMO

No I have to run my own amp for the sub. It's hidden behind the box.
