I'm in the waterpump club!
I've been putting off the horror stories of the ELF(?) recall but my time is up. I have been smelling coolant here and there for a few months now and last night the grim reaper came to claim my car for service. Red goo all over.. goes in on Monday. To be honest I'm sort of disappointed a Toyota product has these flaws as I came from Ford and pretty much never had recall or issues like this but as long as they give me a nice rental and make it quick I can push it aside. Wish me luck guys/gals I hope my car comes back with a fresh plastic wiring apparatus and no idling or power issues.

Went in for the ELF and fan recall and my SA snapped this photo....so had the water pump and serpentine belt done at same time. Peace of mind and many more miles to conquer with the ISF

Hey new ISF owner here. I posted yesterday in the intro thread:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ml#post9158846
Does this issue affect the entire ISF line or only particular model years?

Finally had a chance to drop off my F at the dealer to get the ELF recall done. A couple of hours into it, I just got a phone call saying 3 out of my 4 struts are leaking, and my water pump is bad.... I brought it to their attention the last time I went in for service and they said they didn't see anything.
They quoted me over $900 for the water pump...wtf?! Any recommendations on where to get a new one or a part number to look up and buy on my own?

The job doesn't look too difficult, but if you're curious Pleasanton Lexus listed something around $600 for the water pump replacement had I not been under warranty.
