Default RCF vs ISF drag strip battle.

Man good times at Import Face Off yesterday. Ran my buddies RCF multiple times and these may be the first ISF vs RCF races in the world. Cars are about dead even with my F about a tenth faster and about 1 MPH in the trap. He's 415 wheel and I'm about 400 with both cars modded. The track air temp was over 90 degrees during runs.

Very nice! What are the mods for each car so that we can get a comparison? I'm guessing you're at least exhaust and headers to be at 400whp but I'm curious as to what the RCF has done.

Damn! Nice results and real cool shots! After looking at these pics, I really want my drive way to look like this one day! By the time I pay off the IS F, hopefully Lexus would figure what they'll do with the RCF GT3. It should pack 540hp!

I believe both drivers stated their mods in the previews thread. The ISF has intake, headers and exhaust. The RCF has exhaust and about 148 pounds in weight reduction. That heat and humidity did take a huge toll on both cars though.

So basically a bolt on ISF gives the same power if not a little more at the crank (467ish) than the RCF. So am I assuming correctly that Lexus just let the 2UR GSE motor in the RCF breathe better to obtain the extra 50 HP??

Too bad they didn't make the RCF around 3500 lb with the same power........

My understanding has been that the RCF has the same motor essentially, but has been improved. An FBO ISF should be in the low 480's at the crank +/- 5-10 depending on where you live.

He said the carbon ceramic rotors saved about that and the forged wheels help too.

^^^^Stock wheels are forged too. Looks like the RCF is riddin' on 20s, so no weight saving there.

Nice results! I thought the IS-F would lose by a large margin, but I was wrong. Glad to see you pulled through.
